 I love texture- the contrast between the smooth and shiny and the roughness of seude or boucle, fur pile and wool or ribbed upholstery fabrics. I combine fabrics, beads, buttons and threads into into pieces of textile art, and from these I create unique handbags. I live in a magical city, Cape Town where I am surrounded by inspiration - mountains, forests, vineyards, stormy seas and beautiful summer days and nights. My handbags are available from one of THE best markets in SA, the Country craft market in Somerset West, and I also have an Etsy shop, teejaybags
