Diagonally knitted baby (crib) blanket done in a gorgeous shade of yellow measures 48 inches square & will keep your newest arrival warm for months to come. The edges are embellished with two gorgeous yarns: a Pom Pom yarn in lovely pastel shades held together with the most gorgeous Icicle yarn in a brilliant yellow with a shimmer of light gold. These two yarns truly give this blanket a gorgeous look and I crocheted the edge with these two yarns held together. Truly lovely & a family keepsake. My Christmas/holiday afghan is crocheted in one piece although it looks like separate blocks. Every other block has a Minnesota pine tree crocheted into the block. After completion I wove red ribbon through the holes between each block for a very festive look. Hand crocheted with love . This will always remind me of our lake home in northern Minnesota near Itasca State Park where the headwaters of the Mississippi River is located and where we have crossed on foot many times.Thanks for stopping by to enjoy my holiday afghan in the pines of northern Minnesota.

Snowflake Afghan

I crocheted this lovely vintage afghan pattern in one piece and it is so lovely when finished. This is an intricate pattern but fun to do because it is challenging. It is lacy looking but nice & warm to cuddle under while creating/designing other things or reading a good book. I have crocheted many of these as bridal shower/wedding gifts & also one that has a pineapple pattern throughout. Enjoy this vintage (pattern) Snowflake Afghan.
