'Breakfast at Tiffany's ' a classic, chic black bag knitted/felted in gorgeous imported black wool which looks like velvet when felted. Lovely novelty ribbon yarn in gold, silver and black highlights several areas on this bag creating a sensational look. A lovely knitted/felted bow on the front of this bag is highlighted with the gold, black & silver as is the top edge of the bag and the top edge of the interior pocket. Two ruffles enhance the lower edge and one ruffle enhances the lower top edge. Lovely rhinestone enhanced fabric covers the interior base for stunning detail. A knitted/felted handle completes the elegant & classic look giving this bag the classic look of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" as she sits on the fire escape singing "Moon River" and longing to find her place in the world (that daring, darling Holly Golightly). Elegant, classic, chic with timeless style for a night on the town. A unique showstopper.

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers, mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
