Age of Aquarius Tote

Once in a Blue Moon one designs a work of art that defines one's passion in and for life. Knitted & felted with gorgeous colors emulating water, earth & sky coming together & existing harmoniously as the astrological belief that the world is in the Age of Aquarius-an age of love, light & humanity. This work is filled with symbolism with the bobbles around the bottom edge symbolizing the planets; up into the turquoise with the silver beads as stars in the sky & still upward to the rows with fashion buttons and a large pendant which emulates earth & then back into the bobble like planets around the top edge. The top edge is beautifully felted with two ICORD loops on each side of this piece and they hold two ICORD handle twists. The interior carries on the theme of Aquarius with two lovely pockets and a fashion fabric in purples covering a twice reinforced base for beauty, strength & durability. The entire work is surrounded with the beads, bobbles , buttons & pendants on the front & back. Everything becomes unified. All of our differences, all of our dualities mix together like the fragrances of a flower garden, with all the varieties of flowers adding their bouquet to the overall mix until they are inseparable . Each individual flower remains distinct & individual, each one's fragrance is unique & discernible yet joined together in unity with the others in a wonderful mixture that is the fragrance of life's garden with water as life's source.
