Knitted/felted with organic wool/soy yarn in gorgeous, warm hues of pinks & purples self-striping into this lovely & versatile dish. I used a gorgeous novelty yarn for the top sides and the edge of the ruffle. Really added some bling/beauty! Useful at any time of the year but a lovely addition to your holiday table holding whatever you wish. Insert a plastic or glass dish to hold relishes or sauce at your holiday table/buffet. This one I knitted deeper than the previous one. Very versatile. Enjoy!

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers, mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
