Navy wool felted into a gorgeous fabric for this very functiuonal, fun & versatile accessory case. This case is awesome to use for your passport when you want it hidden underneath your shirt as you travel along with currency from various countries. Over -the-head strong cord (TrimTex/CarolLace) is used for the strap & I created a frog closure from the cord which closes the top edge to keep things inside. Thin but very strong cording. Interior edge is embellished with a silver/blue trim & two lovely fashion heart buttons embellish the front of this accessory case. Use it for eyeglasses, IPOD, cellphone, passport, etc. Very versatile & can be made to your specifications, colors & embellishments (charms, buttons etc.) Hand & machine stitched. Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers,mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN".
