Knitted/felted with gorgeous greens & pink organic wool/soy yarns & lovely novelty yarns to give the 'impression' of Monet's 1890 landscape painting 'Spring in Giverny' which is a favorite of mine. The pastels in this landscape bag imitate the lovely pinks & greens of Monet's painting. Monet loved Giverny & his works have a clearness of vision & a fidelity to nature. Welcome to a Monet garden landscape bag with its many tiny pastel novelty pom poms felted into the midst of the bag looking like tiny flowers in a garden. A hand tie-dyed fabric embellishes the bottom interior & lovely pink & green trim surrounds the top interior edge. A lovely shell button embellishes the top edge & two interior pockets & magnetic clasp complete the bag. Two photos show knitted/felted wool/soy (organic) accessory bag. Enjoy!

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers, mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
