Sweet Dreams Baby Crib Blanket

Diagonally knitted baby (crib) blanket done in a gorgeous shade of yellow measures 48 inches square & will keep your newest arrival warm for months to come. The edges are embellished with two gorgeous yarns: a Pom Pom yarn in lovely pastel shades held together with the most gorgeous Icicle yarn in a brilliant yellow with a shimmer of light gold. These two yarns truly give this blanket a gorgeous look and I crocheted the edge with these two yarns held together. Truly lovely & a family keepsake. Enjoy this lovely Sweet Dreams Crib Blanket as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers,mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
