Gorgeous yarn in a blend of many colorful pinks,browns, corals & rust hues knitted into this lovely scarf which I knitted in a basketweave pattern & voila- a magic scarf ( with ruffles & ridges) The crocheted ruffle is added after the knitting process and this scarf is stunning to throw around ones neck-very soft & a fun pattern that does knit up like magic. These gorgeous colors are truly like a pink peony. Enjoy the magic of this lovely ruffles & ridges pattern.

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers,mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
