A portion of the felted sweater became a Solresol accessory bag for the larger bag. The button on this accessory matches the buttons on the front & back of the larger Solresol bag. The beautiful Solresol language consists of seven syllables-the notes of the scale (do-re-mi-fa-so-la-si (we changed it to 'ti'). Sudre also devised a means for translating ROYGBIV, the colors of the rainbow, with Solresol syllables so that every tapestry, painting, splash of color takes on literal meaning. Mila la sidomido lasi Solresol! Enjoy! Great IPOD holder! My son gave me this IPOD and I am certainly enjoying it! Wow-it's RED(monies go to fight AIDS in Africa)!

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers, mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
