Lovely,yummy (just peachy) Cascade peach yarn held together with Icicle in yellow & beautiful Pom Pom novelty yarn in a variety of (flavors) colors created this 'just peachy' spring ruffled basket. The bottom has a welt for added durability & beauty with an I Cord bind off at the top edge & then a gorgeous ruffle added for the 'piece de re'sistance'. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior. Such a fun basket for any room or holiday-small child/tween or teen. Enjoy! This Icicle novelty yarn is so gorgeous to add to these felted baskets. Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers,mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN".
