Wisteria 'Lilac Rose' is reminiscent of my wisteria garden in La Jolla, California. Knitted/felted holding two skeins of wool and one novelty blend of greens, pinks, purples & lavender which felted into wispy wisteria-like flowers cascading & hanging on like true Wisteria flowers. Purple beaded interior trim adds to its beauty along with pink beads handstitched around the exterior edge. One interior pocket carries on the Wisteria theme. Bottom interior is twice reinforced & boasts a gorgeous fabric covered needlepoint foamcore base for added strength, beauty & durability. A long I Cord handle can either be held double or pulled through for a long over-the-shoulder look. A lovely fashion pin in shades of pink embellishes the top exterior edge. One silver magnetic clasp keeps the contents safe/secure. This bag is graced with a spectacular blossoming of tiny flowers. Wisteria has glamorous, oriental charm & one can almost smell the slightly fragrant wisteria (lilac rose) scent. Enjoy!

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers, mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
