Knitted/felted vintage bubble bag pattern is reminiscent of a flower garden. My mother-in-law loved daisies & had a garden full of them so with the three lovely daisy fashion buttons the colors in this bag look very much like her flower garden. Daisies are such friendly flowers. The knitted/felted scalloped flap has three button holes and two I Cord handles run through the top edge and are tied like small rosettes in the front and back top edges of this fun/flowery bag. Novelty yarn crocheted around the button holes looks like the daisy buttons are in a garden & the top edge is also embellished with 'flowers'. Large interior pocket embellished also. Enjoy! Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers,mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN". My theme bags/totes are exciting to create but I have other artistic creations that I will enjoy sharing with you. Thank You for stopping by. Patricia Maxwell
