Large needlepoint work of Schloss Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria. This piece took three years to complete and is framed under glass to protect the work which will be handed down to my children. 'Mad" Ludwig's famous castle in Bavaria was used in Disney's "Sleeping Beauty". "Cinderella", "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and other movies and television shows. Neuschwanstein Castle, royal palace in the Bavarian Alps of Germany, the most famous of three royal palaces built for Louis II of Bavaria, sometimes referred to as Mad King Ludwig, who grew up nearby at Hohenschwangau Castle.
