Knitted with gorgeous wool yarn (Foliage) whose colors could compete with nature being warm & cool, very organic & uber-texture. This pattern is a favorite of mine and it is like magic as I knit and the blocks take shape like 'magic' and the ruffle only adds to the beauty in the colors of this gorgeous yarn. A fun pattern that truly knits up in a magical way creating ruffles & ridges. The concept is so interesting as I knit blocks of stockinette & reverse stockinette to create 'magic ' in checkerboard/basketweave. Soft as cashmere and cozy and warm for Minnesota winters or just to wear with a sweater or blouse. Enjoy ruffles & ridges for Lavender Blue Dilly Dilly!

Trendy or traditional ; pretty and petite are perfect adjectives for these gorgeous knitted , felted & needle felted bags. Until I have a bag in the works and complete it; I have never "FELT" this kind of passion for an art form which is not unique to this era but has been handed down though generations and has become more popular for bags, slippers,mittens, scarves and anything that can be knitted with the gorgeous wools on the market along with so many beautiful novelty yarns. I hope that you enjoy looking at my felted pieces as much as I enjoy the whole process from hand spun yarn to kettle dyeing to the final felting process it is a challenging and fulfilling artform. The process of needle felting adds decorative wool 'pictures' to my finished felted pieces & at times gives the piece a three dimentional look. It is a very rewarding process. I have used many mediums and this is one of my favorites because it is like 'PAINTING WITH YARN".
